(NTSE) National Talent Search Exam 2018 – Exam Pattern and Question Paper Pattern Details
(NTSE) STATE LEVEL NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION – NOVEMBER 2018
(For the students studying in Class X)
(a) Scholarship of Rs.1,250/- per month for Class – XI to XII.
(b) Scholarship of Rs.2,000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-graduates.
(c) Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. be fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
The State reservation policy will be adopted including 4% of physically challenged group of students. NCERT has announced that from this year 27% of reservation has been provided for OBC candidates for the selection to stage II examination. The candidates who belong to OBC, SC, ST categories should submit the photocopy of the community certificate along with the application form and fees to the respective school authorities.
Physically challenged candidates should produce the national ID card with Medical Certificate along with the application and fees. Selection to stage II examination will be done on merit basis and by the prescribed certificates produced by the candidates.
Students studying in Class X during 2018 – 19 in any recognized school are eligible to appear for the examination. The NMMS awardees also are allowed to appear for NTS Examination.

Qualifying marks for candidates from SC/ST/PH category is 32% in each paper and for others categories it is 40% in each paper.
OMR Answer sheet will be provided to the students. Students should mark the answers in BLACK ball point pen only.
